The DLS Quality Assurance System

Translation - DLS uses only qualified and experienced translators, most with State Department or ATA (American Translators Association) certification. The DLS Quality Assurance System consists of a number of important factors and steps:
· A job tracking system which ensures deadlines are met and nothing is overlooked
·
Translation by a qualified translator
·
Editing by a second translator
·
Proofreading by a DLS Quality Control Manager
·
Complete electronic and hard-copy files for all projects

Language Training - DLS uses only qualified, native-speaker instructors. DLS Language Training Supervisors (LTS) provide the oversight necessary to ensure the success of the language training programs:
·
Classes are observed weekly or bi-weekly.
·
Weekly Student Evaluation Reports and Weekly Classroom Activity Reports are prepared by the instructor and reviewed by the LTS.
·
To provide DLS with student feedback, a monthly questionnaire is given to students.
·
Students are given proficiency tests every 8 - 10 weeks.
·
Students are receive a final proficiency test and an End-of-Training Report.
